My name is Mencía Girón de Velasco Sada. I have a degree in dentistry from the Universidad San Pablo CEU and a postgraduate certificate in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics from the Universidad Internacional de Oviedo, where I had the opportunity to complete my doctoral thesis.

I’ve had the privilege of being in constant contact with the world of orthodontics, with the involvement, passion and dedication that comes with it. My professional career began in London under Dr Favero. In 2012, I joined the Moonz group at the Fulham clinic, and since September 2016, I’ve worked at the La Zarzuela clinic in Madrid. I’m lucky to be able to practise my profession and share with the whole team the energy and desire to achieve excellence in our work. In this way, we can offer the best service to each and every one of our patients.

Hi, my name is Rocío Guerrero and I’m a Treatment Coordinator at Moonz.

Moonz? What’s Moonz? It’s a new project that aims not only for our patients to have a fantastic smile and oral health, but also to help them with inner growth by teaching them essential life values for better personal development and social interaction, such as responsibility, effort and perseverance. All this is combined with magic, rewards and commitments by the team and the children.

We want to be even more different from other clinics. Personally I think it’s a very interesting project. We encourage teamwork, so we’re much closer to our patients. We have a much greater desire to make our work special because they spend a lot of time with us and we become very fond of them, we see them grow.

We want orthodontic treatment to be not just that, but also an experience that makes patients feel proud and satisfied, and that they remember fondly.

Hello! My name is Joana and I am a Treatment Coordinator at Moonz la Zarzuela.

From the first day I set foot inside this clinic I knew I wanted to work here. I have been passionate about orthodontics since I was little, and I love being able to work in this field, making patients happy and seeing them smile in a way I have only seen here at Moonz. I have realised that what we do is not only orthodontics; we also make children happy so that they want to come back the next day, even more enthusiastic than before, and I am proud of that. It is very rewarding to see them arrive with their smiling faces. They tell you all their stories, which are just so important for them, and they give you the most genuine hugs and kisses.
